GM2 High Stability Axial Probe
$203.00
Dedicated High Stability (HS) axial probe for the GM2 Gaussmeter—a rigid, single-axis design that reads the field along the probe axis with repeatable angular precision, plus a configurable button for Freeze, Data Collection, Peak Hold, and Autozero.
Choose it when your measurements are consistently axial—reaching into bores, coils, and solenoids where a fixed sensor orientation matters.
Maximum Range: ±800.00 G
Resolution: 0.01G
Description
Dedicated High Stability Axial Probe for the GM2 Gaussmeter
This probe measures magnetic fields along its own axis—the sensor sits at the tip, oriented to read the field component running parallel to the probe shaft. Where the universal Flex Probe trades some angular precision for the ability to do everything, the Axial Probe is purpose-built for one job and does it with a fixed, known geometry.
Choose it when your measurements are consistently axial: reaching into bores, coils, solenoids, or straight gaps where you want a rigid probe and a repeatable sensor orientation every time. If your application varies or you’re not sure what you’ll need, the universal Flex Probe is the safer starting point.
Being part of the HS series, this probe provides greater stability at low levels and delivers an extra digit of resolution (down to 0.01Gauss), with a range limited to 800.000 Gauss.
Probe Type: Axial (Single Axis)
Sensitivity range: 0.01 Gauss – ±800.00 Gauss (HS Type)
